An artist who immediately caught my eye while looking for inspiration was Erin Hanson. A life-long painter, beginning her study of oil painting at 8 years old.
She creates her pieces from reference pictures that she captures herself, utilising landscapes as the context of her paintings.

Alongside the beauty of photography, the techniques used to produce one of her creations, she is able to create the perception of movement in a still life.
For a moment we think that time has stopped for us, but the reality is, we move along with it.
